Face Oil

I am loving this new face oil! I got a bottle in early June 2024 and now it's over a month later, I've used it twice a day pretty religiously, and my skin has been supple and happy since day 1. I have sensitive skin and am prone to eczema on my chin, as well as breakouts around my nose and cheeks if things get off-balance. I got one zit the one time that I *didn't* use the face oil -- lol.

It's important to use face oils on hydrated skin, so I also got the Heilbron Herbs face mist (rose geranium hydrosol this time!) to make sure I was adding hydration before "sealing it in" with the oil. Together, they make a really luxurious and complete-feeling skincare routine, and miraculously my skin is not too oily at the end of the day! I am also very careful about wearing sunscreen every day; I have a chemical sunscreen and it layers over this face oil really easily. Then at night, I cleanse and re-apply the face mist and oil. I also love that Heilbron Herbs has so much educational information about the herbs in their products—I feel like I'm always learning more about how beneficial the products I already have are, i.e. with antioxidants.

The face oil smells fresh and real and uber botanical, and it's sourced local to Asheville where I live. Feels good to use this face oil, on many levels. I'm a convert.

For those concerned about value: I use 1 pump AM, 1 pump PM, and I am about 1/3-1/4 through the bottle after 1 month. So it will last me 4+ months with twice daily use, or 8+ months if I just used it during my nighttime skincare routine.

I generally don't get excited about face oils, but this one is an entirely different story. I started using it in the evening for facial gua sha, and I liked the texture so much, I now use it in the morning as my facial moisturizer. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft, smooth, and soothed. It has beautiful absorption, so I feel hydrated without feeling oily. I layer it on top of the face mist and it's a beautiful and luxurious combo. Highly recommend!

For reference, I'm in my mid-40s and have normal-to-dry skin.

I love this oil! It’s light but super hydrating. Leaves my skin feeling amazing. I’ve tried other brands but keep coming back to this one. Post shower routine is this face oil and the body oil, perfect combo 💫
